LIAPULL CASHMERE NASCE A GENOVA NEL 1955, GRAZIE ALLA PASSIONE E ALLA COSTANTE DEDIZIONE DELLA SUA FONDATRICE: LIA GAMBETTA.
Genovese di origine, con spirito imprenditoriale e visionario, Lia ha saputo creare un'azienda di successo che resiste da oltre 60 anni, partendo da una semplice macchina da cucire usata per hobby. Partendo da filati elementari come il mohair e la lana, la scelta dei materiali è diventata progressivamente più sofisticata e qualitativa, con materiali preziosi come il cashmere e la seta. La passione di Lia Gambetta è stata trasmessa negli anni ai figli Fiorella e Mirko Ghignone, che oggi dirigono l'azienda, e alla nipote Giulia Marini che rappresenta la terza generazione.
Oggi l'azienda è una delle più avanzate nella produzione e sperimentazione di filati preziosi. La combinazione di maestria artigianale e cura meticolosa dei dettagli, la professionalità e la trasparenza all'interno dell'azienda, il forte rispetto per la sostenibilità sono valori che rappresentano la vera frontiera della crescita e dello sviluppo imprenditoriale di Liapull, accanto alla continua ricerca e all'innovazione d'avanguardia. Dall'unione tra tradizione e sperimentazione nasce nel 1994 il marchio AVANT TOI, prodotto e distribuito da Liapull. Mirko, con una mentalità irriverente e la passione per la pittura, ha iniziato presto a sperimentare la tecnica dell'"action painting" su capi di lusso, trasformando l'azienda in un pioniere di fama internazionale nell'uso e nello sviluppo del colore.
La sede di Liapull occupa una posizione strategica che vanta una vista spettacolare sulla città, su una collina che domina l'intera baia del Porto di Genova. Lo stabilimento è stato acquisito negli anni '90 e ospita i reparti creativo, produttivo e gestionale. Identità sociale, cultura e tradizione sono i valori fondamentali che caratterizzano ogni singolo capo, custoditi da ogni individuo coinvolto in questo esclusivo processo di Made in Italy.

A Genovese native with an entrepreneurial spirit and a visionary approach, Lia was able to create a successful company that has been enduring for more than 60 years, starting with a simple sewing machine used as a hobby. Starting with elementary yarns such as mohair and wool, the choice of materials became progressively more sophisticated and qualitative, with precious materials such as cashmere and silk. Lia Gambetta’s passion was passed on over the years to her children Fiorella and Mirko Ghignone, who now head the company, and her granddaughter Giulia Marini who represents the third generation.
Today, the company is one of the most advanced in precious yarn manufacturing and experimentation. A combination of master craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, professionalism and transparency within the company, and a strong respect for sustainability are values that represent the true frontier of Liapull’s entrepreneurial growth and development, alongside continuous research and avantgarde innovation. The union between tradition and experimentation gave rise to the AVANT TOI brand in 1994, produced and distributed by Liapull. Mirko, with an irreverent mentality and a passion for painting, began experimenting early on with the “action painting” technique on luxury garments, transforming the company into an internationally renowned pioneer in the use and development of color.
The Liapull headquarters occupies a strategic position that boasts a spectacular view of the city, on a hill dominating the entire bay of the Port of Genoa. The factory was acquired in the 1990s and houses the creative, production and management departments. Social identity, culture and tradition are the fundamental values that characterize every single garment, cherished by each individual involved in this exclusive “Made in Italy” process.
